Recycled/recyclable packaging
Our cards and paper materials are printed on recycled or FSC-certified paper and envelopes are made of recycled paper. Any sleeves that appear to be plastic are actually made of a plant-based material and are compostable!
We also prioritize using recycled, dead stock, organic & low-impact fabrics. Our embroidery kits include a variety of fabric types for that reason, but all will work and look beautiful with your project! Your embroidery kit fabric was printed by Spoonflower, a company committed to sustainability.
Your embroidery floss is from DMC, a company committed to the highest environmental standards. Their threads are OEKO-TEX 100 Certified, and are made using DMC's proprietary recycled water system. And, the belly bands which hold the skeins together are recyclable by you.
Flying Bird Botanicals tea is organically farmed and made from ethically wildcrafted herbs, and is packaged in plant-based biodegradable teabags and recycled (and recyclable!) steel tins. The company is women-owned.
Erin's Elderberries honey is made with organic ingredients by a registered Certified Holistic Health and Nutrition Coach. This locally-sourced raw Virginia honey is a beautiful addition to your tea or any other healthy cooking, and the hexagonal glass jar it comes in can be reused and recycled.
Plantflix’s organic seeds are batch-tested for viability and packed fresh to maintain high germination rates, grown by various responsible growers in the US, and hand-packed in San Diego in sustainable packaging designed and printed by the owners.
Weekday Candles uses 100% soy wax and and phthalate-free fine fragrance oils to make clean burning candles. Their wood wicks are hand-crafted in the USA and are made from FSC Certified Wood. Their tins are made of tinplate which can be recycled indefinitely.
