Joyful Threads
For the Brooklyn dog-lover in your life (or maybe you!), this embroidery features an adorable dog howling "Broooklyn!"
You can hang your embroidery up as wall art (in the hoop provided or in a frame of your choice), or applique it onto your favorite sustainable item like a tote bag or upcycled pillow.
Your order plants a tree + 10% of profits go to local farms, wildlife & environmental justice organizations!
We prioritize using recycled, dead stock, organic & low-impact fabrics. Our embroidery kits include a variety of fabric types for that reason, but all will work and look beautiful with your project! Your embroidery kit fabric was printed by Spoonflower, a company committed to sustainability.
Our floss comes from DMC. DMC is one of the leading manufacturers of embroidery floss -- good thing they are committed to the highest environmental standards! Their threads are OEKO-TEX 100 Certified, and are made using DMC's proprietary recycled water system. And, the belly bands which hold the skeins together are recyclable by you.
All instructions and informational cards are printed on 100% recycled or FSC-certified paper, and your embroidery kit packaging is a special veg-cello bag that is compostable.
Every order plants a tree + 10% of profits go to local farms, wildlife & environmental justice organizations.
